Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Teman Girls when you use our members area. Please read them. By signing in, you agree to them.

1.Who can join

The Teman Girls members area is a community for women aged 18 and over. By creating an account you confirm that you are a woman aged 18 or older, and that the information you give us is true. We may ask you to complete verification to keep the space safe.

2.Your account

• You sign in with your Google account. Keep your Google account secure, as it controls access to your membership.
• You may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts, or accounts under false details, is not allowed.
• Your Telegram and Instagram handles must be your own. Each handle can be linked to only one account.
• Membership is currently free. If we ever add paid features, we will make the terms clear before you pay.

3.How to behave here

Teman Girls is built on kindness and safety. When you use the community, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other members.
• Impersonate someone else, or pretend to be a member you are not.
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or harmful.
• Collect, scrape, or share other members' information without their consent.
• Misuse event check-in codes, or try to break, overload, or hack the service.

4.Content you post

Your bio and profile details belong to you. You are responsible for what you write. By posting it, you give us permission to display it within the members area so the community can work (for example, showing your profile card when another verified member searches your handle). You can edit or remove your profile details at any time.

5.Verification, events, and hosting

• Verification helps keep the members area a space for women. Some features are available only to verified members.
• Event check-in codes are for members attending that event. Your attendance count reflects your genuine check-ins.
• If you host an event, you agree to run it responsibly and treat attendees with respect.

6.Suspension, bans, and appeals

We want this to stay a safe, welcoming space. If you break these terms or act in a way that harms the community, we may suspend or ban your account, with or without notice. If you believe a ban is a mistake, you can appeal by emailing hello@temangirls.com, and we will review it.

7.Ending your membership

You can leave at any time. Go to My Profile, choose "Delete my account", and confirm. This permanently removes your login, profile, and history. If you sign in again later, a brand new account is created. We may also close accounts that break these terms.

8.The service is provided "as is"

Teman Girls is a community service provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may change, pause, or stop features at any time. Events are organised by hosts and members, and attending them is at your own choice and risk.

9.Our responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by Malaysian law, Teman U&I Ventures is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the members area, or for the conduct of other members or event hosts. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you have that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.

10.Your privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. If you keep using the members area after a change, you accept the updated terms.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
